Witnesseth, That the said Lawrence Jamison for and in consideration of the sum of twelve hundred dollars lawful money of the United States of America, unto him well and truly paid by the said William Kiser at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents doth grant, granted, bargained, sold, aliened enfeoffed, released and confirm unto the said William Kiser his Heirs and Assigns, the house and lot of ground situate on East Pit street in the borough of Bedford, numbered in the plan of said town 176 - "except so much of the North West corner of said lot as is now enclosed, and adjoining the stable on the lot belonging to the heirs of Thomas Heyden, deceased - the fence to remain in the same place where it now stands" - being the same house lot and premises which was sold to said Lawrence Jamison by John McVicker Esq high sheriff of Bedford county as the property of Elijah Adams ~ Deed acknowledged in the county court of common pleas the 10th day of June, A.D. 1845. Page 2, the reverse of page 1 is blank Page 3 Together with all and singular the buildings and improvements, Ways, Waters, Water-Courses, Rights, Liberties, Privileges, Hereditaments, and Appurentances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the Reversions and Remainders, rents, Issues and Profits thereof; and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim, and demand whatsoever, of him the said Lawrence Jamison in law, equity, Or otherwise howsoever, of, in, and to the same and every part thereof, TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said House, Lot of ground, Hereditaments and Premises hereby granted, or mentioned and intended so to be with the Appurtenances, unto the said William Kiser his Heirs and Assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said William Kiser his Heirs and Assigns for ever. "Except so much of the North west corner of said lot as is now enclosed and adjoining the stable on the lot belonging to the heirs of Thomas Heyden deceased. The fence to remain in the same place where it now stands And the said Lawrence Jamison his Heirs, Executors and Administrators, DO by these presents, covenant, grant and agree to and with the said William Kiser his Heirs and Assigns, that he the said Lawrence Jamison his Heirs, all and singular the Hereditaments and Premises herein above described and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the Appurtenances, unto the said William Kiser his Heirs and Assigns, against him the said Lawrence Jamison, his Heirs, and against all and every other Persons or Persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, shall and will WARRANT and for ever DEFEND.
