George Nixon to Thomas Nixon Jan 19, 1801 This indenture made this Nineteenth day of January in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and one. Between George Nixon of Hopewell Township Bedford Co and State of PA yeoman of the one part and Thomas Nixon son of the said George Nixon of the Same Place, yeoman of the other part, witnesseth that the said George Nixon for and in consideration of the Natural Love and affection which he has and bears to the said Thomas as also of the sum of one dollar lawful money of the United States to him in hand paid by the said Thomas at and before Sealing and Delivery herof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged granted, bargained, sold, alined, released and confirme and by these presents do grant, bargain sell, align releass and confirm unto him the said Thomas Nixon his heirs and assigns the following discribed Tract of Land Situate in the Township, county and State aforesaid on the Waters of Yellow Creek to to wit, Beginning at a White oak Corner of other lands of said Thomas Stoveer? South six degrees east one hundred and sixty four perches to a walnut thence south eighty five degrees east one hundred and twenty perches to a post by a black oak thence north fifteen degrees East one hundred and ninety one perches to a post thence South eighty six degrees and a half West one hundred and Eighty four perches to the place of beginning Containing one hundred and fifty nine acres and twelve perches and the usual allowances of six per cent for roads. Surveyed on the fifth day of June in the year AD one thousand seven hundred and sixty two on Warrant Granted to the Said George Nixon. dated the twenty ninth day of October one thousand seven hundred and sixty two the above described tract being struck off the North West end of the Tract the said George now lives on Surveyed on the Warrant aforesaid together with all and singular the rights libertus, priveleges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsover to the said part of the said tract surveyed as aforesaid belonging or in any Wise Appertaining tracts and the reversions and remainder Rents _____ and Profits to the ___ described part of the said tract elonging or appertaining to have and to hold the said described part of the said tract unto him the said Thomas Nixon his heairs and assigns forever.
