Bloomfield Township Matters.
The weather has been very favorable to the farmers this fall.  Some are now 
doing plowing for corn and oats next spring.
A bouncing boy baby recently came to the home of our friend, J. H. Shafer, of 
Baker's Summit.  The Democratic population of Bloomfield township is certainly 
on the increase.
Mr. Shafer, above referred to, is the champion rat catcher of the state, so 
far as we have knowledge.  He recently caught 14 almost full grown rats in a 
wire cage-trap at one setting.
W. K. Long recently purchased the W. S. Pote residence and store property, at 
Potetown.  We wish him success.
