The Somerset Herald.: (Somerset, Pa.) December 2, 1874
Of Bedford county, who was convicted in 1867 on alleged doubtful testimony and
sentenced to nine years and six mouths imprisonment for outraging his own daughter
has just been pardoned by Gov. Hartranft upon the recommendation of the Board of
Pardons.
