FRANCES ANDERSON Altoona friends will be deeply grieved to learn of the death of Mrs. Frances Anderson, eldest daughter of Justice of the peace and Mrs. S. W. Salker, of Six Mile Run, who passed to her crowning from parents home recently. Mrs. Anderson was a Christian woman of the truest type, a faithful member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Hers was a life of suffering. For many years she has been a victim of diabetes, but she put up a brave fight, visiting the Altoona hospital a number of times for treatment and refusing to be an invalid until the grim monster finally won the battle. Always cheery, she was an inspiration to her friends, a real blessing to all whose lives she touched. Her aged parents are sorely bereft as the years of her widowhood have been spent in their home and none of the two brothers and three sisters who survive them lives in the home town.
