BEDFORD

  Bedford, February 18. - The body of Edward Brightbill, who died suddenly 
at his apartment in New York city yesterday, was brought here this morning 
and taken to the home of his mother, Mrs. Margaret Brightbill, on West Pitt 
street.  Deceased was aged about 60 years and for many years had been a 
Pullman conductor, running between New York and Chicago.  He was unmarried 
and is survived by his mother and several brothers and sisters - Frank, Mrs. 
Jennie Smith and Mrs. Lavinia Smith, of this place; Mrs. Adda Defibaugh, of 
Cumberland; Max, of Elkins, W.Va.; Benjamin, of Ohio.  The funeral services 
will be held on Thursday.
