Brumbaugh, of Imler, Bedford county, died at 3.15 o'clock yesterday morning at the Mercy hospital, from the influenza-pneumonia. He was admitted to the institution from 414 Lexington avenue, where he had latterly made his home. He came to this city in October, and was employed by the P.R.R. in the Juniata tank shop. He was born in Bedford county on February 13, 1884, the son of David and Keturah Brumbaugh, who survive him with the following brothers and sisters: Albert C., and John L., of this city, Edward E., of Imler, and William L., with the A.E.F., France; Mrs. Annie Hoenstine, of Claysburg, Mrs. Margaret Mangus, of Imler, and Misses Emma and May, at home. Mr. Brumbaugh was a member of the P.R.R. relief, and the I.O.O.F., at Claysburg. Altoona Tribune, Wednesday, January 1, 1919
