SARAH JANE CLAYCOMB Mrs. Sarah Jane Claycomb, widow of Amos Claycomb, died of complications at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. C. Colebaugh, Canan Station, Sunday after a long illness. Mrs. Claycomb was a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Tont, early residents, and was born near Osterburg, Pa., September 10, 1848. She lived in Bedford county until 15 years ago, when she came to her daughter's home. She was a lifelong member of the Reformed church, holding membership at Imler for many years. In 1868, she was married to Amos Claycomb, who died in 1912. Surviving are two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Nettie Colebaugh, Canan Station; Mrs. Hattie Dunn, Boston, Mass.; Wilson Claycomb, Osterburg; Harvey E. Claycomb, Collegville; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Reformed Church at 2:30, in charge of the Rev. Edwin N. Faye, Altoona.
