   Lloyd Herbert Corle, 68, a native of Bedford county, died suddenly Saturday 
morning, Nov, 15, while at work on his ranch home at Plain Washington.
    Mr. Corle, a former builder and contractor, was born at Pavia July 25, 
1879, a son of David and Miranda (Crissman) Corle. At the age of 15 he moved 
to Pittsburgh where he attended school. Her married the former Melissa Kunkle 
in 1905 and later moved to Washington. He retired from the contracting 
business in 1940.
   He is survived by his wife; a son, Chalmers Corle; a daughter, Mrs. John f. 
Etter, Chattanooga, Tenn.; two brothers, Harvey Corle, Bedford; Thomas Corle, 
Wilmington, Del.; and two sisters, Mrs. E. C. Landis and Mrs. Minnie 
McAllister, both of Bedford, and a granddaughter, Sandra Etter.
