CRISMAN OLANTA - Samuel Moore Crisman, 93, of Olanta, died in the Rest Haven Convalescent Home, Curwensville, at 9:50 p.m. Saturday. A son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Claycomb) Crisman, he was born April 9, 1876, at Pleasantville, Bedford County. A retired mail carrier, he was a member of the Olanta Lutheran Church, Olanta Grange, National Rural Letter Carriers Association, and a charter member of the Clearfield County Motor Club. He was married Oct. 23, 1899, to Ora Hahn of Altoona, who died in 1955. Also preceding him were: an infant daughter, his parents, four sisters and four brothers. One son, Howard S. of Altoona, and one daughter, Miss Florence R. Crisman at Knox, survive as do seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and four great- great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held a 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. John E. Hill, pastor of Hope Parish. Interment will be made in Crown Crest Memorial Park. Friends may call in the funeral home from 3 p.m. today until the hour of service tomorrow. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to contribute to a charity.
