Dick, at Greenlawn cemetery in Roaring Spring, Hobert G. Dick of Bakers Summit collapsed in his automobile and was pronounced dead at the Nason hospital yesterday afternoon at 3.45 o'clock. Mr. Dick had been in failing health for several years. He remained in the automobile during the burial service and when his son returned to the car he noticed his father slumped in the seat. He took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead from a heart attack. Born in Centre county Jan. 8, 1898, Mr. Dick was the son of Samuel and Harriet (Garber) Dick. He was united in marriage with Dorothy Stonerook Sept. 11, 1919, in Hollidaysburg. He is survived by his wife, one son, Eugene of Roaring Spring; five daughters, Shirley, Audrey, Odene and Joan, all at home, and Nadine of Everett; one granddaughter, his mother and two brothers, Joseph and Walter of Roaring Spring; these sisters: Mrs. Hazel Lingenfelter of Claysburg, Mrs. Mary Gates of Eldorado, Mrs. Golda Feather, Mrs. Irene Myers, Mrs. Edith Isenberg and Miss Susan Dick, all of Roaring Spring; one half-sister, Mrs. Roxie Lykens of Port Matilda, and two half brothers, Arthur of Roaring Spring and Claude of Roaring Spring, R.D. Mr. Dick was a member of the Holsinger Church of the Brethren. He was a veteran of World War I, and was a member of the Murray-Appleman Legion post 147, Roaring Spring. He was employed by the Pennsylvania railroad as a boilermaker for 24 years. Friends will be received at the home at Bakers Summit after 7 o'clock this evening. DICK - Funeral services for Hobert G. Dick of Bakers Summit, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the Roaring Spring Church of the Brethren in charge of Rev. Joseph E. Whitacre and Rev. H.Q. Rhodes.
