He was born Dec. 10, 1918, at Blue Knob, a son of Elmer and Elizabeth (WENTZ) DIEHL, and married Miss Virginia ALBRIGHT July 8, 1948. Mr. DIEHL was a veteran of World war II service with the air force in the European theatre of operations, the last of his plane crew of 10 to die. He had been employed at the Middletown air depot since the war. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Joann, his parents, two brothers and one sister, Bruce A., Clair and Mrs. Edna OLCOTT. Mr. DIEHL was a member of the Mt. Hope Evangelical and Reformed church of Blue Knob. Friends are being received at the William ALBRIGHT home, Hollidaysburg, R. D. 1.
