Mrs. Carrie Edwards, widow of Thomas Heyden Edwards, died at the home of her 
niece, Mrs. Margaret Imler, in Bedford township, at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, August 
18, after a long illness, aged 55 years.  She was a daughter of Jacob and Louisa 
Semler and was born at Bedford.  She was twice married, first to Samuel Miller 
and some years after his death to Thomas Heyden Edwards, a former well-known 
resident of Bedford.
