FAY Bedford, Pa., January 21. - William H. Fay, after an illness of two weeks from influenza, died Sunday evening at his home on Spring street, the third of the family to die within the week. His wife passed away last Monday, and a week-old son on Friday; another son, Billy, is quite ill at this time. Mr. Fay, who was a son of Mrs. Jacob Diehl, of Friend's Cove, was aged about 35 years. About ten years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Emily Maine, of this place. Four small sons and his mother survive. Mr. Fay was a veteran of the Spanish-American war, having served with the navy and at the time of his honorable discharge was on the U.S. steamship Buffalo. The funeral services will likely be held tomorrow afternoon with interment by the side of his wife in the local cemetery, Rev. J. A. Eyler, of the Reformed church officiating.
