FIGARD Of 405 Hemlock St., died at 5.30 p.m. yesterday, April 2, 1971, in Central General Hospital at Plainview, N.Y., after a brief illness. He was born in Bedford County, a son of William A. and Matilda (Kennedy) Figard, and married Lillian Shaw, who died Nov. 21, 1970. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Artrip of Camp Hill and Mrs. Helen Emswiler of Hicksville, N.Y., and three grandchildren. Mr. Figard was a veteran of World War I, having served in the Army. He was a retired welder of the Pennsylvania Railroad, retiring in 1953 after 28 years of service. Friends may call at the Lafferty Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. FIGARD - Services for Paul W. Figard of 405 Hemlock St. will be held in the Lafferty Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Homer F. Gaunt. Interment in Alto Reste Burial Park.
