MRS. MARY ALICE FISHER

Of New Enterprise, R.D., died Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Miller of the same address, death being 
attributed to a complication of ailments. She was the daughter of 
Thomas and Amy Jay and was born at Clearville Aug. 22, 1877. She was 
married Sept. 19, 1896, to Oliver Fisher, who died on Good Friday 11 
years ago. Surviving are these sons and daughters:  Scott Fisher, Mrs. 
Bertha Miller, Mrs. Ada Detwiler and Richard Fisher, all of New 
Enterprise, R.D., Walter Fisher of Mechanicsburg and Mrs. Ida Moore of 
Bakers Summit. One daughter, Oletta, is deceased. Also surviving are 11 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and six brothers and one 
sister. Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Holsinger Church of the 
Brethren. Friends will be received at the home.

FISHER - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Alice Fisher of New Enterprise, 
R.D., will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at the 
Holsinger Church of the Brethren in charge of Rev. D. M. Pepple. 
Interment in the Holsinger cemetery. Friends are being received at the 
home.
