All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/bedford/ _______________________________________________ Mrs. Lovenia Fletcher Mrs. Lovenia Fletcher, widow of the late John Fletcher, died at the home of her son, Baltzer Fletcher, West Pitt street, Bedford, early Tuesday morning. Her maiden name was Lovenia Hite and she was born in Cumberland Valley seventy-five years ago. Fifty-five years ago she was united in marriage to John Fletcher and to this union six children were born, five of whom are still living - Shannon, W. S., William, Baltzer and Albert, of Bedford. A daughter, Mary A. - died in 1863. The husband and father passed away on October 18, 1899. Mrs. Fletcher was a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church for many years. The funeral services were held yesterday morning and were Conducted by Rev. M. L. Cutter/Culler of the Lutheran church. Interment in the Bedford cemetery. Bedford Gazette 3/16/1900
