Stella Fletcher

Miss Stella Fletcher, daughter of Baltzer Fletcher, died at her home in 
Bedford Wednesday evening, November 29.  The death of Miss Fletcher was 
peculiarly said in that a life so young and full of promise should be cut off 
so suddenly.  The deceased was in her eighteenth year, being born December 26, 
1881.  She was a bright young girl of studious habits and was a member of the 
class of '99, Bedford high school.  She was a member of the Methodist 
Episcopal church and faithfully performed her religious duties.  her quiet, 
unassuming manner and loving disposition won for her the love and respect of 
her young associates who realize they have indeed lost a friend worthy the 
name.  The funeral services, were held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, 
were largely attended.  Rev. E.M. Stevens, assisted by Rev. M.L. Culler, 
officiated.  Interment in the Bedford cemetery.
