Fox Under date of Thursday, January 5th, 1899, our Woodbury correspondent writes:-- Death has again entered our midst today and taken from us another of our aged and highly respected citizens, Mrs. Hannah Fox, widow of the late Michael Fox, who preceded her to the better world about seven years ago. She has been a resident of this place for at least forty years, previous to that much of her time was spent in and near McKee Gap. She is survived by two sons, George M. Fox, of New Enterprise, and Dr. C. W. Fox of Roaring Spring, and three daughters, Mrs. Martha Ebhart, of Philipsburg and Mrs. Mary Snowden and Miss Millie, at home. For many years she had been a constant sufferer yet the end came very peaceful and apparently without much suffering. Hannah Emigh Fox was born June 16, 1817 at the time of her death was aged 81 years 7 months and 19 days. She was a member of the Reformed church for some years. Her funeral occurred on Saturday at 1 p.m., was conducted by her pastor, Rev. E. M. Beck. Interment in the Hickory Bottom cemetery. Thus another home is broken up, which was this good mother's greatest regret in leaving this world. Morrisons Cove Herald, January 12, 1899
