When 16 years of age she came to Blair county where she became acquainted with Levi Grabill and was married to him March 18, 1841. He preceded her to the future world about 13 years ago (1891). To this union were born eleven children, namely, Elizabeth, wife of Adam H. Imler, of Imler; Catherine, deceased; Emanuel, who died while serving as a soldier in the civil war; Ellen, wife of William Ickes, of Roaring Spring; Samuel of Lilly; George of Altoona; Mary Anna, deceased; Daniel of Roaring Spring; Margaret, deceased; Lee of Renovo; Jacob Martin of Imler; She spent her life on her farm in Blair County until a few years ago, when she moved to Imler. She died on August 18, aged 82 years 5 months and 9 days. Mrs. Graybill was a life-long member of the German Brethren Church. She was a kind-hearted and affectionate and "Grandma", as she was called by everyone, will be greatly missed.
