GRIFFITH-Miss Gertrude, 95, formerly of 407 Ash St., died March 28, 1974, in 
Ebensburg.  Born July 10, 1878, in Spring Meadow, Bedford County, daughter of 
John M. and Sarah (Miller) Griffith.  Prededed [sic] in death by parents, 
brothers and sisters.  Survived by several nieces and nephews.  Member of 
Franklin Street United Methodist Church.  Retired interior decorator and 
seamstress.  Friends received from noon to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the 
Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, where service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, the 
Rev. Harold L. Knappenberger.  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
