Griffith, an aged painter, died unexpectedly of a complication of disease at the Griffith home, 311 Grove Avenue, Moxham, yesterday afternoon. His health had been impaired for a long time, but he was able to be about until a short time before his death. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Jo W. G. Fast, pastor of the Franklin-street Methodist Episcopal Church, and burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. The deceased, who was born in Bedford County about 71 years ago, was married to Sarah E. Miller, also a native of Bedford County. For a long time they made their home in Altoona, coming to Johnstown 12 years ago. In 1910 Mr. Griffith went to Oklahoma on account of his health, returning to Johnstown within the past few weeks. He is survived by his widow and these children - Grant and Statler Griffith, of Atoka, Okla.; Mrs. H. C. Hull, of Des Moines, Ia.; Mrs. Charles W. Crofford and Mrs. R. E. Caspari, of Akron, O.; John, of Grove avenue, and Miss Gertrude Griffith, at home.
