Joseph Grant Griffith, formerly of this city and later of Claysburg, died at 
the latter place at 3:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon, death being due to a 
complication of diseases. He was born at Spring Meadow, Bedford county, January 
12, 1865. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Leah Griffith, and two sons, Harry R. 
and Charles W. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Jennie 
Crawford, Mrs. Tillie Caspari, both of Akron, O.; Statler O., of Oklahoma, 
Moore N., John and Miss Gertrude, all of Johnstown. Six grandchildren also 
survive. Funeral services will be conducted in the Methodist church, Claysburg, 
tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in the Reformed cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Joseph's death certificate indicates that he was born 27 January, 1865.
