Minnie E. (ROSE) GROWDEN

Minnie E. GROWDEN

[d. Dec. 20, 1921]

The Funeral service of Mrs. Minnie E., wife of T. J. 
GROWDEN, was held at Bethel church, Cumberland Valley, on 
Saturday, December 24, conducted by Rev. Bryan and Rev. 
Brosius. Interment was made in the Union cemetery, members 
of the Rebekah lodge and Patrons of husbandry attending in a 
body. Mrs. GROWDEN was aged 53 years, and was a daughter of 
William Henry and Elizabeth (DEREMER) E. ROSE. Her husband 
and four sons by a former marriage also survive: William, 
Harvey, Martin, and Sherman NAVE, and three step- children: 
Ruby, Cozy and Thomas GROWDEN. Deceased was well known 
through-out her home section. She was of a kind disposition, 
always ready to help others at all times.
