REBECCA HAMMOND Mrs. Rebecca Hammond, of Cessna, Bedford county, died at 5 o'clock yesterday morning at her home of a complication of diseases, following a lengthy illness. She was the widow of James Hammond, who died thirteen years ago, and is survived by two sons, Clarence and Frank Hammond, both of this city; two daughters, Misses Elizabeth and Mary, both at home, and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. B. F. Miller, this city, wife of the city police lieutenant; Mrs. Edward Riley, Bedford; Mrs. George Bush, Cessna; Mrs. Wilson Ferguson, and Mrs. David Reighard, both of this city; Henry Jacob and Rush Weisgarber, all of Cessna; George, near Bedford; and Mrs. Frank Kauffman, St. Clairsville. Mrs. Hammond was a member of the Lutheran church at Cessna, and was the daughter of A. J. and Rebecca Weisgarber, both deceased. She was aged about 60 years. Funeral services will be held at her late home tomorrow afternoon, followed by burial in St. Paul's Reformed cemetery, at Cessna. Altoona Tribune, Tuesday morning, August 20, 1918, page 5
