Miriam Hartman


On Friday afternoon, January 7th, Miriam, twelve year old daughter of
Rev. and Mrs. Charles R. Hartman of Everett, Pa., passed away at the Reformed 
parsonage of the above place.  She had been sick but a few days, and was so 
suddenly called away from earth by acute uremic poisoning.  Her Parents are 
doubly bereaved in that just a few years ago they lost a boy about thirteen 
years of age drowning. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to them in 
their new sorrow.  The funeral services were held in the Reformed church, 
Everett, on Monday, January 10th conducted by Rev. J. Albert Eyler, of Bedford 
assisted by the Rev. Mr. Biddle of the Presbyterian church, Everett, 
representing the Everett Ministeriun.  The internment was made in the beautiful 
cemetery crowning the hill east of Everett.
