Bedford

  William Hartzell, who died at his home in Bedford township on Monday 
after a long illness, at the age of 82 years, was buried in the Union 
cemetery at this place at 2 o'clock this afternoon.  He was a veteran 
of the Civil war, having served in the Eighty-second Pennsylvania 
infantry.  Deceased is survived by his wife, who was Mrs. Matilda 
(Stiffler) Brideham, and three children: Mrs. Fred Reighard, Elmer and 
Watson Hartzell, all of Bedford township.
