Judge James' Wife Dies at Bedford Home

  BEDFORD, Aug. 10. - Mrs. Anna C. James, wife of Harry C. James, former Bedford 
county judge, died at her home, 443 East Pitt street, last evening at 6 o'clock.
  She was born May 24, 1887, at Manns Choice, Bedford county, a daughter of 
Nicholas M. and Emma C. (Harcelrode) Diehl.
  Surviving are her husband, to whom she was married Dec. 8, 1911; a son, John 
H. James of Stockholm, Sweden, and two sisters, Mrs. Harry L. Stern and Mrs. 
Lucinda M. Souser, both of Bedford.
  Mrs. James was a member of St. John's Evangelical Reformed church of Bedford.
  Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. Funeral 
services have been delayed pending the arrival of the son from Stockholm.
