MRS. SADIE E. LANDIS

  Mrs. Sadie E. Landis, of Easley, S. C., formerly of 515 W. Pitt St., 
Bedford, died December 24, 1956, in the Easley General Hospital. She was born 
July 20, 1882 in Pavia. She is survived by her husband, Edward Landis of 
Easley, two sons, Charles of Easley and Warren of Baltimore, Md.; three 
grandchildren, two brothers, Harvey Croyle of Bedford R.D. 1; Thomas Croyle of 
Baltimore; and a sister Mrs. Minnie McAllister of Wilmington, Del.
  She was a member of the Bedford Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star of 
Bedford, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
  Funeral Services: Saturday afternoon, 2 p.m. at Louis Geisel Funeral Home 
by the Rev. H.T. Covert. Interment in Bedford Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Sadie was the daughter of David and Miranda (Crissman) Corle. Her surviving 
brothers were Thomas and Harvey Corle, not Cryole as mentioned in the obituary.
