MRS. EMMA G. LESSIG

Widow of William Lessig and a well known resident of Bedford, died at her home 
on West Pitt street early this morning.  She was the daughter of Jacob and 
Margaret (Defibaugh) Line and was born on Feb. 26, 1855.  She was united in 
marriage with Mr. Lessig in February, 1878.  Surviving are one daughter and one 
son, Mrs. Marion Mechtley of Altoona, and Harold Lessig of Bedford, and one 
brother, John Line of Bedford.  She was a member of the Methodist church.  
Funeral services will be conducted at the home Sunday afternoon in charge of her 
pastor, Rev. Walter H. Williams.  Interment will be made at Bedford.
