MRS. JAMES LONG

  At her home in Blue Knob Annie, wife of James Long, died at 8 o'clock Monday 
evening of a complication of diseases.  Mrs. Long was a daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. Charles Robbins, of Portage, and was aged 36 years.  Her husband and five 
children, the eldest 13 and the youngest 3 years old, are left to mourn her 
early demise.  Also surviving are her parents, a sister and a brother, Mrs. 
Nevin Hazlett and Herbert Robbins, both of Portage.  Mrs. Long was a faithful 
member of the United Brethren church and will be greatly missed in the 
community.  Funeral arrangements were not completed last evening.
