Long, widow of J. C. Long, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Wagner, Needles, Calif., Monday. A telegram announcing the fact was received Tuesday by her daughter, Mrs. Anna L. McCloskey, Juniata. Mrs. Long was born at Everett, March 21, 1850. She and her husband, who was a Civil war veteran, lived in Altoona for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church. Her husband died 10 ago and she went to California. Surviving are two sons and two daughters: T. S. Long, Kingman, Arizona; ; Mrs. Mary L. Wagner, Needles, Calif.; Raymond J. Long, Chicago; Mrs. Anna L. McCloskey, Juniata; 15 grand children, one great-grandchild, four sisters: Mrs. John Dowling, Altoona; Mrs. Amanda Blankley, Mrs. Rachel Strayer and Mrs. Laura Karns Everett.
