Long, widow of Andrew Long, deceased, died at her home in Potetown, May 10 at 3 p.m., death being due to a complication of diseases. She was a great sufferer for the past two months. She was born in Bloomfield township, the daughter of John and Annie Cashman, January 24, 1845. Her husband preceded her to the spirit world 38 years ago. Mrs. Long was a faithful member of the Church of the Brethren for many years. She leaves to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother, two children, W. C. Long, of Roaring Spring, R. D., and Mrs. Jacob P. Smith, of Ore Hill. The funeral will leave the home this Friday morning at 9:30 to the Holsinger church, where services will be in charge of Eld. Mahlon Weaver, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, of Roaring Spring. Interment will be made in the Holsinger cemetery. Martinsburg Herald, May 13, 1921
