Longenecker, of South Woodbury township, Bedford county, died on Thursday noon. The funeral cortege will leave the home of the deceased to-morrow (Sunday) morning at 9.30 o'clock and proceed to the German Baptist Brethren church at New Enterprise, where the services will be held. Interment will be made in the cemetery nearby. Morning Tribune (Altoona), Saturday, December 16, 1899 _____________________ NEW ENTERPRISE ITEMS. On Thursday, the 14th inst, at noon, Mr. Ephraim H. Longenecker passed from time to eternity, aged 65 years, 10 months and 28 days. His remains were interred in the New Enterprise cemetery on Sunday. The funeral discourse was delivered by Elder C. L. Buck in the presence of a large concourse of people. Mr. Longenecker was a kind husband and father as well as a good citizen, and had many friends who sympathize with the bereft family in its affliction. He leaves a wife, two sons and five daughters to mourn his demise. These are: David Longenecker, of South Woodbury township; Harry Longenecker and Mrs. Leah Benner, of Johnstown; Mrs. Clara Croft, of Maria, and Lizzie, Minnie and Emma, who are yet at home.
