RICHARD A. LOWRY

  Richard A. Lowry, 76, of Saxton R.D. 1, died 7 a.m. yesterday, 
Thursday, Jan 5, 1978, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brode, with 
whom he resided. He had been in failing health for the past several 
years.
  He was born on April 13, 1901, in Saxton R.D., the son of George and 
Malinda (Brode) Lowry. He married Gladys Leedy, who preceded him in 
death on Feb. 13, 1963.
  Surviving are two brothers, Frank Lowry of Saxton R.D. and Albert 
Lowry of Robertsdale.
  He was of Protestant faith, and a coal miner by occupation.
  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, from 
the Albert N. Masood Funeral Chapel, Saxton. The Rev. Robert Gehlbach 
will officiate and interment will be made in the Rhoat Cemetery, Saxton 
R.D.
  Friends may call at the funeral chapel tonight, Friday, from 7 to 9 
p.m.
