Loy, widow of Martin B. Loy, deceased, formerly of Loysburg, Bedford county, died at the American house yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, of paralysis. The deceased was about 82 years of age. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Gibson, and she was a daughter of Robert F. and Mary Gibson, of Bedford. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Easton, of New York city, and two sons, Robert and David, both of Cincinnati, O. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Samuel S. Barr, of Hollidaysburg, and two brothers, Joseph S. M. Gibson, of Duncansville, and Robert, of Decorah, Ia. The deceased was an estimable Christian lady, and during her stay of two years in this community gained many friends. The remains will be taken this evening on the 6.30 train to Springfield, O., where interment will be made. Morning Tribune (Altoona), Tuesday, February 6, 1900
