(McConnellsburg, Pa.): January 18, 1900 Mrs. Catharine Snyder Markley Died at Sixmile Run, Bedford county, Pa., January 9, 1900, Mrs. Catharine Snyder Markley, wife of Harrison Markley, aged 54 years, 5 months and 29 days. She is survived by her husband and five children; also two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Dr. Wishart, of Harrisonville, Mrs. Laura Dixon, of Media, Mr. E. A. Horton, of Wells Valley, and Lt. Col. S. M. Horton of the U. S. Army, now located in Coronado Beach, California. Al were present at the funeral except the last named. She was buried at the Presbyterian cemetery in Wells Valley on the 12th inst. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Silas Davenport, Presbyterian minister at Robertsdale, Huntingdon county, Pennsylvania.
