MRS. JANE MADARA,

Widow of the late James Madara, died at her home near Ore Hill, on 
Tuesday, of diseases incident to old age.  She was born at Woodbury, 
Bedford county, eighty-six years ago, and has resided in that county 
ever since.  She was one of the oldest and best known women in Bedford 
county, and her death will be learned with regret by a large number of 
friends and acquaintances.  She was a member of the Presbyterian 
church.  She is survived by three sons, Dr. James W. Madara, of near 
Lexington, Ky., and David and John, of Ore Hill.  Mr. S. A. Madara, of 
2815 Eighth avenue, is a nephew of the deceased.  He left this 
afternoon to attend the funeral, which takes place tomorrow morning; 
interment at Baker's Summit, Summit.
