Jacob Marshall died at the home of his son, Harry Marshall, at Sproul, Tuesday, 
of apoplexy. Mr. Marshall was a son of Henry and Sarah Marshall, born in 
Bedford county, January 8, 1855, and was married to Sarah Kerr in 1885. He was 
a member of Mann's Choice Methodist Episcopal church. Surviving are four sons: 
Harry and Elmer, at Sproul; Samuel, King, and George, Mann's Choice.  Funeral 
services were held in the Mann's Choice Methodist Episcopal church at 10 a. m. 
Thursday and internment was made in Mann's Choice Cemetery.
