Mattingly died July 22 at his home in Riddlesburg. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at his home by Rev. F. A. Lawson and the body conveyed to Yellow Creek for interment in charge of Mortician R. E. Huff. He was born in Altoona, a son of Edward and Jane (Stewart) Mattingly, and married to Vina Batzel at Riddlesburg June 4, 1904. He was a certified accountant and employed most of his life in Pittsburg, moving to Riddlesburg about four years ago. His wife survives. FREDERICK C. MATTINGLEY Frederick C. Mattingly died at his residence in Riddlesburg, Friday morning, July 22. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. Mr. Mattingley was the son of Edward L. Mattingley and Jane (Stewart) Mattingly, and was born in the city of Altoona. He was married to Vinna Batzel, June 4, 1904, at Riddlesburg. The greater portion of his life was spent in the city of Pittsburgh as a certified accountant. About four years ago he and his wife took up residence in Riddlesburg. For so brief a stay in Riddlesburg, Mr. Mattingly had won for himself many friends and was held in high esteem by the citizens of the community. He was a member of the Methodist church of Riddlesburg. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vinna Mattingley. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at his residence in Riddlesburg; the Reverend F. A. Lawson will officiate. Interment in the Reformed Cemetery at Yellow Creek.
