Mr. Mock was apparently well as usual when he retired and seemed all right when his wife arose at 6:30. At 7, she returned to the room and found him dead. Mr. Mock was a son of Philip and Susanna Mock, born at Osterburg, April 19, 1857. He was married December 22, 1878 to Mary Jane Mock, who died January 13, 1900. To their union 13 children were born, five of whom survive. He was married to Miss Anna B. Walters, December 26, 1901. He was a member of the Osterburg Reformed church. Surviving are his wife and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. (Louie/Lonie) Vaughn, Bedford county; Cora B. and Oliver Mock, Clappertown; Mrs. Pearl Ickes, Cessna; Ella Neal and Mrs. Carrie (Hadey?), Pittsburgh; Mrs. Sarah Gates, New York; Mrs. Mary Young at home, 32 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister Joseph Mock, Schellsburg; Elmer Mock, Fishertown; Mrs. Etta Moorehead, Bedford. Funeral services were held in the Reformed church at Osterburg. Tuesday, 2 p. m., in charge of the Rev. S. U. Wangaman. Interment was in the church cemetery.
