  Early Tuesday morning, Mary A. Mohr, wife of John Mohr, died at her 
home after a very brief illness, having attended to her household 
duties on Saturday. She was 77 years old and was twice married, first 
to Elias L. Zook, who died about the year 1857. Two children of this 
union survive, Postmaster Charles W. Zook and Mrs. A. C. Baker, both of 
Roaring Spring. These children of the second marriage survive:  J. N. 
Mohr, of Iowa; Mrs. C.A. Biddle and Mrs. C. W. Fox, of this place, and 
Mrs. H. H. Brumbaugh, of Defiance, Bedford county. These brothers are 
living:  John B., Jacob, and Andrew B. Pote, of Bakers Summit. Funeral 
services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, by her pastor 
Rev. Hill, of the Lutheran church, of which organization she was a 
consistent member.
