Mrs. Israel Morris

Mrs. Eleanor Morris wife of Israel Morris, was born August 1, 1840, and died 
at her home in Monroe township December 2, 1899, aged fifty-nine years, four 
months and one day.  She was a faithful member of the Christian church and 
died in peace, trusting in Jesus.  She is survived by her husband, five sons, 
four brothers, and two sisters.  A good woman has been cut down by the 
destroyer and many are they who mourn.  She was buried at Rock Hill, where a 
funeral sermon was preached by her pastor, Rev. Joseph Barney, to a large 
congregation.
