Rachel C. (ROSE) MOWER

Rachel C. MOWER, 71, of Rainsburg, died at the Nason 
hospital, Roaring Spring, Wednesday, Jan 4, 1951. She had 
been a patient at the hosiptal for three weeks. She was born 
Aug. 20, 1879 in Bedford County, the daughter of Albert and 
Louise (SHAFFER) ROSE. She is survived by her husband, Alden 
MOWER; two brothers, Arthur and George Sherman ROSE, 
Rainsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Annie HINKLE of Rainsburg and 
Mrs. Ellen NAGLER of Bedford. Funeral services at the home, 
with additional services at the Woods Methodist church, 
Rainsburg. Internment in the church cemetery.
