Abraham Washington Mowery    

The funeral services of Abraham Washington Mowry to Buffalo Mills, who died of 
a paralytic stroke on July 22, were conducted in the Dry Ridge Reformed Church 
Friday afternoon, July 23, by Rev. George W. King of the M. E. Church, and were 
largely attended.  He was aged 84 years, one month and 27 days was the son of, 
Jacob and Elizabeth (Otto) Mowry.  He is survived by his wife and the following 
children:  Mary E. Hufford and G. W. Mowery, of Pittsburgh; Jacob S. Mowry of 
Fyan; W. H. Mowery, of Buffalo Mills; J. M. Mowry of near Bedfprd Springs; and 
C. P. Mowry of Lutzville.  Burial at Dry Ridge Cemetery.
