S. Ellen (ROSE) NAGLER

Mrs. S. Ellen NAGLER, 95, of 318 Pitt Street, Bedford, died 
early Wednesday morning, March 5, 1980, in Bedford County 
Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rainsburg, November 16, 
1884, a daughter of Albert and Louisa (SHAFFER) ROSE. She 
was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel WELSH, her 
second husband, Frank NAGLER, and three sons. Surviving are 
three daughters: Mrs. Dora CUSTER, of Johnstown; Mrs. Hazel 
RIGGS, of Bedford, R.D. 1; and Mrs. Mary Jane IBARRA, of 
Bedford, Sixteen grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, 21 
great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren also 
survive. She was the last surviving member of her immediate 
family. Funeral services: Friday, March 7, at 2 p.m. in the 
Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, with Rev. Joseph Cooper 
officiating. Burial in Bedford Cemetery. Friends will be 
received in the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m.
