Died, Aged 104 Years.

  Bedford Gazette, February 27: Thomas Oliver died at the residence of 
his daughter, Mrs. Jane E. Wertz, in Cumberland Valley township, on 
Friday last, aged 103 years, 5 months and 12 days.  He was born in 
Durham, England, September 8, 1787, and came to this country when a 
young man.  His first place of residence in Bedford county was 
Morrison's Cove.  About twenty years ago he moved to Rainsburg, where 
he lived until the death of his wife last fall, when he took up his 
abode with Mrs. Wertz.  Until a short time since, he was a 
comparatively active man, and only a few weeks ago paid a visit to 
Bedford.
