She was aged seventy-six years, five months and twenty-seven days. The subject of this notice was a daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Crissman and was born near new Paris on the farm now owned by C. Bertram. The only surviving members of the family are Nathan Crissman, of Cessna, and Charles S. Crissman, of Denver, Col. Decedent was united in Holy matrimony to John Otto on February 18, 1947. Her husband preceded her in death by eight years. The result of this union was six children. The surviving ones are A. J. Otto, of Bedford, Miss Lavenia Otto and Calvin Otto, of Schellsburg, and Elizabeth Mullin and Charles Otto, of Cumberland. Mrs. Otto came to Schellsburg, with her husband and family, in April, 1855, and has lived there ever since. Calvin, who is still at home, cared for his mother since the death of her husband. For over two years she had been ill and during this time Lavenia was at home and attended and watched over her. Mrs. Otto was an active member of the Reformed church since1865. The funeral services took place Monday afternoon and was conducted by her pastor, Rev. D. G. Hetrick, who was assisted by Prof. A. B. B. Van Ormer, of the Lutheran church and Rev. W. R.
