Osterburg, February 27. - William S. Otto died at his home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday, aged about 66 years. He was a carpenter and followed his occupation in Altoona, where he was stricken with paralysis on March 20, 1918. He was removed to his home and was an invalid ever since. Mr. Otto was a consistent member of the Lutheran church; also a member of the Odd Fellows. He is survived by his wife, Clara, who was a daughter of the late Judge Nelson. He is also survived by three children to his first marriage - Harry and Mrs. Belle Horn, of Schellsburg, and Miss Anna, of Windber. Three brothers and one sister survive, as follows: Albert and Harry, of Osterburg; Wilson, of Altoona, and Mrs. Hettie Berkhimer, of Salemville. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning, with services conducted at his late home in St. Clairsville by his pastor, Rev. Middlesworth, after which the cortege will proceed to Fishertown, where interment will be made in the cemetery at that place. Altoona Tribune, Friday, February 28, 1919, page 10
