JOHN ALBERT OVER

A native of Woodbury, Bedford county, and lately residing at 1210 Thirteenth 
avenue, this city, died at 10.55 o'clock last night at the Altoona hospital.  
Death was due to cerebral hemorrhage, he having been taken suddenly ill on 
Friday evening.  He was born April 29, 1859, a son of Cyrus and Leah Over 
an[d] was married to Miss Lollie Fluke of Woodbury, his wife being deceased.  
The following sons and daughters survive: Frank, Ray and Mahlon Over, all of 
this city, Cyrus Over of Hollidaysburg, Charles Over of Hot Spring, Ark., 
Samuel Over, Mrs. Earl Hoffman and Mrs. Cylde [sic] Sell, all of Woodbury; 
Lee Over, Mrs. Paul Replogle, Mrs. Wilfred Garver and Arnold Over, all of 
Roaring Spring.  There are two brothers and a sister, George Over of 
Waterside, Howard Over of Woodbury and Mrs. Dessa Coulton of Philadelphia.  
The remains were taken today to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Hoffman in 
Woodbury and the funeral will be held in the Methodist church there on 
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of the pastor, Rev. D. I. Pepple.  
Interment will be made in the Dry Hill cemetery.
